International companies lure customers with their low prices per day of car rental. Initially. This is where their advantages end. But there are a lot of disadvantages and only the lazy one did not speak about it on the network. The main ones are:

• high cost of a returnable deposit, which is accepted only in the form of blocking a certain amount on the card. The card itself must be a personal credit card. The return of the deposit, if you are lucky, then its full amount, will be made for a month, or even more;
• frequent cases of refusal to return a deposit for chips and scratches that have arisen not always through your fault, but left over from previous tenants;
• mandatory prepayment when booking a car online;
• surcharge for each additional option;
• booking a car class, not a specific car. Let's say you order a VW Golf and you are served a FORD Fiesta because there are no available ones. But this is not the same thing!

* CASCO in Montenegro with a deductible of 100-200 euros, depending on the class of the car. This is your maximum pay in case of an accident. 4. Try to book a car in local, not in international car rental companies. First, they rarely ask for a refundable deposit. Secondly, you book a specific car with them, and not a car class.
5. Do not rely especially on CASCO in Montenegro, in order to save money, it almost always comes with a franchise. This means that the insurance does not cover damage to tires, headlights and windshield. In monetary terms, this is 200-300 euros.
6. If you plan to use a rented car to travel to neighboring countries - Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, then be sure to ask for international insurance (Green Card), the so-called “green cardboard” (Zeleni karton). Also check that there is a clause on the right to travel abroad in the car rental agreement, there should be an additional seal on this clause or next to it.
